The short version: this website does not collect anything about you.
What this site collects
NOTHING,
and that is deliberate.
This website is a set of fixed pages. There is no sign-up, no login, no contact form, and no shopping cart. We do not run advertising trackers or analytics, so there is no cookie banner here because there are no tracking cookies to ask you about.
Where information is actually given
Two things ask for your details, and both happen on another company’s website after you leave ours:
- Registering for the Invitational, sponsoring, or donating is handled by Zeffy, the fundraising platform our buttons link out to. Your name, contact details, and payment information are entered there, on Zeffy’s systems. Card details never pass through this website.
- Applying for a scholarship is handled by Google Forms. Everything you type into the application goes to Google, and we read the responses from there.
Each of those companies has its own privacy policy, and while you are on their pages, theirs is the one that governs. We receive only what they pass on to us: who registered, who gave, and who applied.
What we do with it
We use it to run the event and the scholarship program — to confirm your spot, thank you for giving, review applications, and keep in touch about Blackbird Invitational. We do not sell, rent, or trade anyone’s information, and we never have.
Asking us to remove you
You can ask us what we hold about you or ask us to delete it. Reach us through the organizers listed on our get involved page and we will take care of it.
Changes
If this site ever starts collecting something directly — a form, a mailing list, analytics — this page will say so before that goes live.
